Heath Windows & Doors specializes in high-quality aluminium and uPVC windows and doors, offering A-rated installation and thorough aftercare. Role Description

The Design and Sales Consultant will work on-site in Cardiff in a full-time capacity, guiding customers through the selection of aluminium and uPVC windows and doors that best suit their homes and projects.

  • Consulting with domestic customers, builders, and architects
  • Understanding their requirements
  • Preparing accurate design proposals and quotations
  • Providing product demonstrations
  • Explaining installation options and aftercare services
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and sales activity
  • Following up on leads
  • Managing the sales pipeline
  • Contributing to the showroom presentation and customer experience

Collaboration with installation teams and office staff to ensure smooth project delivery and high customer satisfaction is an essential part of the position.

Qualifications

  • Customer-focused sales skills, including consultative selling, relationship building, and follow-up.
  • Basic design and product selection skills, with the ability to interpret customer needs and suggest suitable window and door solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with domestic clients, builders, and architects.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple enquiries, quotations, and projects.
  • Comfort with using computers and software for quotations, customer records, and email communication.
  • Previous experience in home improvement, building supplies, glazing, or a related field is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site in Cardiff and visit local project locations as needed.
