Job Title: Architect
A leading Dubai-based design studio is looking for an Architect to join its growing team and take ownership of defined design packages across a range of ambitious projects in the UAE and wider region.
This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond purely technical execution and is ready to take greater ownership of the design process. You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas, develop design options, and take your work from brief through to delivery with increasing independence.
You will work closely with senior leadership and project leads across large-scale, design-focused projects, including masterplans, cultural and mixed-use developments, waterfront schemes, and high-end residential projects. Your work will contribute to the development and delivery of projects from early design stages through to detailed design, with opportunities to present your ideas and contribute to internal design reviews.
The studio is looking for an Architect with strong design and technical foundations, who can combine creativity with a practical understanding of project delivery. You will coordinate with consultants, take responsibility for your own packages, and help ensure a high standard of design and technical output throughout the process.
There will also be opportunities to support more junior members of the team, share knowledge, and contribute to the studio’s continued development of digital, AI, and design-led workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined design package or workstream from brief through to delivery, working closely with project leads.
- Develop design proposals and options in response to project requirements, site conditions, programme, and wider context.
- Produce high-quality drawing sets, BIM models, renders, diagrams, and presentation material.
- Coordinate with consultants across your package, raising queries, tracking responses, and helping resolve coordination issues.
- Present design proposals and package development clearly during internal design reviews.
- Work collaboratively with architects, designers, and wider project teams to maintain design intent throughout the process.
- Apply AI and emerging digital tools where they add value to the design process and project workflow.
- Support and mentor Junior Architects, particularly around software, workflows, and project standards.
- Contribute to internal research, knowledge-sharing, and the development of design and technical processes.
- Support bids, competitions, and presentation material where required.

Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of post-MA/MSc experience as a practising Architect, with experience working across concept through to detailed design.
- A Master’s degree in Architecture (MA, MSc, MArch, or international equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Professional qualification/licensure in progress or planned.
- A strong architectural portfolio demonstrating design thinking, technical understanding, and clear personal contribution to projects.
- Confident in Rhino, Revit, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong capability in at least one key design or technical software platform, with the confidence to support others where appropriate.
- Practical experience using AI design tools and an understanding of scripted or parametric workflows.
- Good working knowledge of relevant architectural regulations and building codes.
- An understanding of how interiors, structure, MEP, and landscape influence architectural design decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design ideas clearly.
- A proactive attitude towards learning, collaboration, and professional development.
- Currently based in the UAE or open to relocating to Dubai.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Lumion or Blender.
- Previous experience working within the GCC or wider Middle East.
- Familiarity with the region’s climate, cultural context, and design considerations.
- Experience supporting architectural bids, competitions, or pitch submissions.
- An interest in emerging technologies and their application within architectural design.
