Design Assistant | Manchester | £25,000–£28,000
I’m recruiting for a fast-growing performance and outdoor apparel brand looking to add a Design Assistant to its Manchester team.
A great opportunity for an ambitious designer with a passion for sportswear, outdoor and activewear to gain hands-on experience across the full product development process.
The role:
- Create garment CADs, colourways and technical artwork
- Produce tech packs across jersey, woven and outerwear
- Support graphics, prints, trims and branding development
- Assist with sample reviews and supplier design packs
- Research trends across outdoor, performance and streetwear
- Work closely with Design, Product Development and Merchandising

You’ll need:
- Strong Adobe Illustrator / Creative Suite skills
- A relevant design portfolio
- Good understanding of colour, fabric and garment construction
- A commercial mindset and passion for product
- An adaptable, organised approach
