We're looking for a creative and organised Design Assistant to support our Design team in delivering inspiring, commercial collections while gaining hands-on experience across the end-to-end product development process.

What You'll Do:

As a Design Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the Design team to meet critical path deadlines and bring seasonal collections to life.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct brand, competitor and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Complete regular comp shops and store visits to gain customer and market insights.
  • Research styling ideas, key items and outfitting opportunities.
  • Produce trend reports, key item analysis and market insight presentations.
  • Support the day-to-day running and organisation of the Design team.
  • Assist with colour palette development and maintain consistency across ranges.
  • Identify new opportunities across product categories and departments.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that drive product modernity and commercial success.
  • Support the design and development of smaller product areas as experience grows.
  • Utilise AI tools and best practices, supporting future PLM implementation.

Who you'll be:

  • Passionate about building a career within fashion design.
  • Strong garment sketching and illustration skills.
  • Understanding of garment CADing, fit and product construction.
  • Awareness of key brands, competitors and current fashion trends.
  • Ability to create mood boards, storyboards and seasonal design concepts.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Creative, proactive and eager to learn and develop.
