Role Description
This full-time/ part-time, on-site Design Consultant role is based at our showroom in Gateshead. The Design Consultant will welcome customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored interior design advice to help them select furniture and furnishings that suit their style, space, and budget.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Presenting product options
- Preparing layout suggestions
- Explaining materials and finishes
- Managing the sales process from initial enquiry through to purchase
The role also involves maintaining showroom standards, updating displays, handling customer enquiries in person and by phone or email, and supporting after-sales service to ensure a positive customer experience. The Design Consultant will collaborate closely with the showroom team to meet sales targets and uphold our commitment to exceptional customer service.

You’ll be helping customers choose the perfect sofa and furniture for their homes, providing outstanding service from the moment they walk through the door to the final sale.

- Friendly, confident and approachable
- Driven to achieve and exceed targets
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
- A great communicator with a positive attitude
- Retail or sales experience is preferred, but personality and enthusiasm are just as important.
