Role Description
The Design Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role involves coordinating design information for washroom projects, ensuring drawings, specifications, and submittals are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time. The Design Coordinator will work closely with architects, project managers, site teams, and suppliers to clarify requirements, resolve design queries, and maintain project documentation. - Reviewing and updating design layouts
- Organizing design reviews
- Preparing and tracking submittals
- Supporting the smooth transition from design to installation
- Communicating design changes to relevant stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement of design and documentation processes

Qualifications
- Strong design management skills, with experience coordinating drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of architecture or interior construction, preferably related to washrooms, fit-out, or similar environments.
- Project management abilities, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines across multiple projects.
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and tracking submittals and other formal project documents.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with designers, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Proficiency in relevant design and office software (e.g., CAD tools, MS Office, project management platforms).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to resolving design issues.
- Relevant qualification in architecture, design, construction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in construction or washroom fit-out projects is an advantage.
