We are looking for a Design Coordinator to join our Cheshire Design Centre in Wilmslow, supporting our Design Managers across the design and delivery of client projects.
The role

Working closely with our Design Managers, you will help develop kitchen and living space proposals, coordinate the detail behind each project and support the team from the initial design stages through to project completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Using CAD to prepare kitchen and indoor and outdoor living space design proposals for client presentations.
- Preparing detailed design plans from the initial stages through to sign-off.
- Supporting Design Managers to ensure the client brief is met and expectations are exceeded.
- Preparing presentations, technical information, brochures, case-study imagery, samples and suggested colour schemes.
- Building extensive knowledge of our products, materials and design principles.
- Working closely with the Appliance Manager to understand appliance ordering, warehousing and delivery requirements.
- Coordinating with the Design Manager and Appliance Manager to ensure project materials and appliances are ordered, warehoused and delivered when required.
- Preparing detailed fitting packs for our fitting teams and providing technical information and assistance where required.
- Ensuring orders and project information are accurately recorded on our sales order processing and administration systems.
- Supporting the team with post-installation requirements, including snagging and small items.
- Liaising with our Teddy Edwards workshop throughout the production and development of furniture where required.
- Compiling case studies and photography for PR and the website.
- Supporting the marketing team with artwork, digital and website updates, CPDs, client events and trade fairs.
- Maintaining CRM contact details and assisting with general client and telephone enquiries.
- Helping to ensure the showroom is kept immaculate and consistently reflects the Kitchen Architecture brand and client experience.
- Maintaining and restocking showroom displays, samples, accessories, product books, brochures and branded materials.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
