DESIGN & DELIVERY MANAGER – SOLAR PV
UK Home-Based | Nationwide Travel
Competitive basic salary + Company Car + Benefits
Design it. Deliver it. Own it.
Noble Green Energy is growing — and we're looking for a Design & Delivery Manager who wants to play a key role in building the technical function for the future. This isn't another Solar PV design role where you hand over a drawing and move on. You'll own projects from feasibility and yield modelling through to detailed design, DNO approval, construction and commissioning — while stepping into project delivery when needed.
What you'll be doing
- Lead C&I Solar PV design from concept through to construction
- Own G98, G99 & G100 applications and DNO relationships
- Produce electrical calculations, SLDs and AutoCAD designs
- Work with PVsyst, Amtech/Trimble or equivalent
- Specify modules, inverters, mounting systems, protection and monitoring
- Provide technical leadership throughout construction and commissioning
- Step in to cover Project Manager / Technical Manager responsibilities
- Develop processes, standards and best practice as the business grows
- Mentor colleagues and build towards future technical leadership

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
