This branding studio is not just strategic; it’s global too. Working on a real mix of visual and verbal identity, UX/UI design all the way through to film, photography, and environment branding, this is the sort of place that will keep you on your toes in the best way possible.

They’re industry leaders here, and now they’re on the hunt for a Design Director who has the conviction to challenge the status quo and who believes in the power that a great brand with even greater design can have.

The Role

You'll own the creative outcome across brand creation and rebrands, setting direction from the earliest strategic thinking through to final execution, and holding the standard for creative ambition across the studio.

This is hands-on creative leadership, not oversight, so you'll bring together strategists, writers, designers, creative technologists, and client partners to make integrated work across both digital and physical applications. The remit is design-led and conceptually driven: identity systems that commit fully to a single idea and are built to scale. Part of your job is to push the work until it's genuinely great, and to make the people around you braver whilst you do it.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You're a Senior Designer or Design Director from a craft-driven branding studio, most likely a London independent or challenger. Your portfolio is distinctive, concept-first identity work built to scale: brand creation and rebrands rather than campaigns.

You lead across the full arc of a project and bring strategists and writers with you. You have a clear point of view, and you relish challenging clients.

A more diverse team is a more creative team. It’s our job to build teams of people, and we’re proud to bring together a global network of diverse talent.

All applicants will be considered without regard to race, nationality, religious persuasion, sexual orientation, sex, marital or parental status, physical ability, gender, or age.
