Editorial Designer & Magazine Design Editor
Faon Voire Magazine
About Faon Voire
Faon Voire is a women’s fashion, beauty, culture, creativity, and lifestyle magazine with an international perspective. We are preparing our next 44-page issue and are seeking an experienced Editorial Designer & Magazine Design Editor to transform the existing content into a polished, professional magazine ready for publication.
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled creative professional who can combine editorial editing with professional magazine design. This is not a traditional copy-editing position. The ideal candidate should be able to take an existing magazine issue and refine the writing, structure the editorial flow, proofread the content, and create sophisticated, visually cohesive magazine pages.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and proofread the complete 44-page magazine
- Improve grammar, clarity, flow, tone, and consistency while maintaining the publication’s voice
- Restructure articles and pages where necessary to create a professional editorial flow
- Design and format the magazine pages for a polished print/editorial appearance
- Create strong typography, page hierarchy, layouts, headlines, pull quotes, captions, and visual elements
- Ensure consistency throughout the entire issue
- Refine fashion, beauty, art, culture, lifestyle, and feature pages
- Review image placement, captions, credits, spacing, and overall visual balance
- Ensure the magazine feels cohesive from the cover through the final page
- Prepare the final publication files according to professional print and digital standards
- Work closely with the Founder/Editor-in-Chief throughout the final editorial process

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
