Design Engineer

Location: Darlington
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE

Your Role

  • Using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create conceptual and detailed designs.
  • Perform mechanical and thermal simulations using hand calculations and FEA tools like Ansys.
  • Support the rapid development of new technologies and materials.

What You'll bring to the team

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor) and engineering tools like Mathcad or Excel.
  • Experience in design engineering within Subsea, Offshore Wind, or Oil & Gas.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical principles, including structural, thermal, and fatigue.
