Design Engineer (Timber Frame / Construction)

Remote - office based in Aberdeenshire

About the Role

Are you a Design Engineer or similar with Timber Frame experience looking for a technical, remote role where you will make a direct impact on the ongoing success of a well-established, award winning business working on low rise residential projects? They offer full autonomy to oversee project delivery and a range of opportunities to continually progress your career.

This well-established Residential construction company work on a broad range of Housebuilding projects across Scotland. They have seen continual growth since their establishment whilst building a loyal client base due to their first rate service and to an ever increasing workload they are looking to grow their friendly Design team.

  • Working on house building projects
  • Producing designs and draughts at pre-construction phase
  • Overseeing site teams
  • Liaising closely with clients, stakeholders and other departments
  • Working remotely managing multiple projects simultaneously with regular travel and the chance to lead projects as you see fit

This autonomous role would suit a Design Engineer looking for an autonomous, remote role working on a range of projects within a leading company who offer flexibility and ongoing progression.

The Role:

  • Be the go-to Timber Frame designer on construction projects within House building
  • Responsible for producing draughts and designs - multiple projects simultaneously
  • Liaise with site supervisors, cost managers, and other key stakeholders
  • Play a key role in the success of the business, ongoing progression available

The Person:

  • Timber Frame Designer
  • Experience with Revit / Mitek or similar
  • Looking for a remote role
