Hey! We’re team Granola 👋
If you haven’t already, you should check out what we’re building, and why you should work here.
We’re looking for a Design Engineer to own how Granola shows up on the web and help people understand what it can do, what makes it special, and how to get started.
You’ll combine strong design instincts with front-end engineering skills, taking ideas from early exploration through to a live website. Your work will shape how people first encounter Granola, bringing the care and personality of our product to the pages that introduce it.
We want to build one of the best websites in the industry. That means making Granola’s story clear, giving every interaction care and attention, and building the foundations that let us keep improving as we grow.
In this role, you will:
- Own the website’s development. Help set its direction, identify opportunities and take responsibility for the quality of what ships. Continuously improve the site’s SEO, performance and accessibility, keeping it fast, discoverable and easy for everyone to use.
- Push what a website can be. Set an ambitious creative and technical bar, and make Granola’s website one of the best product marketing experiences on the internet.
- Bring Granola’s story to life. Work with marketing and design on the homepage, feature pages, enterprise pages and other experiences that explain our product.
- Keep the everyday experience improving. Give navigation, pricing, calls to action and smaller updates the same attention as major launches.
- Build the infrastructure to help us move faster. Develop reusable components, page templates and CMS workflows that make publishing straightforward across the team.
- Support experimentation. Build campaign landing pages and enable A/B testing, using what we learn to improve the site.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

About the opportunity
We are living in the most exciting time for tool builders since Engelbart's demo in 1968. We want to assemble the best crew to build this future together, here in London. Our compensation philosophy is to pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity.
We do our best work in person, and so our team spends time together five days per week in our new, bright, and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who'll be moving to London to join us.
Lastly, we think amazing talent comes from all kinds of life journeys and experiences. If what is written above speaks to you, whether you look like a fit on paper or not, please reach out.
