Design Engineer
£40,000-£50,000 + Training + Company Benefits + International Travel + Flexitime
Location: Saffron Walden
Are you a Design Engineer or similar from any background? Are you looking for a role with training to upskill you and help you develop into a new industry, varied projects, site visits, and the opportunity to travel nationally and internationally with all expenses paid?
On offer is the opportunity to join an expanding manufacturing business designing and supplying high-quality shielding solutions, including Faraday cages and associated products, for customers across the UK and internationally. The company are open to candidates from a range of industries and will provide training on their specialist products, site visits, quality checks, and project delivery.
In this role you will support the design of bespoke solutions, produce and update drawings, and work closely with production and site teams to ensure products are manufactured in line with client requirements. You will receive training on customer site visits, carrying out quality checks, attending project meetings, and supporting installations, with typical projects involving 2-3 site visits and lasting anywhere from 3 months to 2 years.

The Role:
- Supporting the design of bespoke RF shielding solutions and Faraday cage products
- Producing drawings, design updates, site visit reports, and project documentation
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:45pm, with paid travel and expenses when required
- Office-based role with national and international project work
