A brilliant opportunity for a Design Lead to join an independent, award-winning creative studio working across sport, technology and B2B.
This is a senior, hands-on creative role for someone who wants to do more than simply execute a brief. You'll be expected to think, challenge, develop ideas and lead the creative direction from the initial concept through to final delivery.
The studio has built an impressive client base largely through word of mouth and reputation, and has deliberately built a team around experienced, senior people who are trusted to manage their own work and their own diaries.
There are no layers of unnecessary management, no big agency politics and no creative egos. Just a talented team focused on producing great work.
The Role
Around 50% of your time will be dedicated to a major global sports brand, supporting a significant brand evolution and developing brand-first, social-first campaigns. You'll work across:
- Brand and visual identity
- Campaign concept development
- Social-first creative
- Campaign rollouts and toolkits
- Digital and social content
- Animation and motion
- Art direction
- Photography and video shoots
- Brand guidelines and visual systems
- Regional and global campaign rollouts
The remainder of your time will be varied, working across clients in technology and B2B clients, including rebrands, strategic design projects, campaigns, new business and creative rollouts. You'll be both designer and art director, someone who can come up with the idea, develop the visual direction and then work with specialist freelancers and the wider team to bring it to life. You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in shoots, directing photography and video and shaping social-first content.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
