Summary

Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team due to a number of exciting new projects across a range of commercial, industrial and logistics projects throughout the North West.

What You’ll Do

Design Manager

  • Oversee the preconstruction phase of projects, ensuring designs meet client specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to create cost-effective and efficient designs
  • Manage the project design budget and timeline
  • Work closely with the client team liaising on multiple projects
  • Maintain effective communication with the customer on all agreed actions to ensure that any issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
  • Lead design team meetings & provide regular updates to senior management on project progress.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to company standards and industry regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Implement & maintain quality control procedures throughout the design & construction process.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Design Manager for a main contractor.
  • Experience of working within the construction industry, specifically on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects.
  • A good knowledge of current CDM and Building Regulations
  • Experience of managing document management systems.
