Job Description: Design Manager/Senior Design Manager
Century Facades Ltd is looking for an experienced Design Manager and/or Senior Design Manager to join our growing team and help deliver some of the UK's most challenging and exciting façade projects.
We're looking for individuals who combine strong technical knowledge with excellent leadership, design coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate
- Relevant degree or qualification in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience working for a specialist façade contractor, ideally in a design management role.
- Strong technical understanding of curtain walling, cladding, and building envelope systems.
- Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, relevant British and European Standards, and industry best practice guidance, including CWCT.
- Experience managing people, design teams, and coordinating external consultants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience advantageous.
- General understanding of BIM processes and collaborative design environments.
- Ability to develop, manage, and monitor design programmes using MS Project, Planner, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of design risks, procurement, and construction processes.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, with a demonstrable CPD record desirable.

Location & Working Arrangements
This is primarily an office-based role, with opportunities for flexible remote working by agreement, subject to business and project requirements.
