About The Role

This is an opportunity to play a key role in transforming how buildings perform throughout their lifecycle. Working across our Regional Buildings portfolio, you'll drive the integration of smart technologies, optimise building performance, and ensure our clients benefit from data-driven, sustainable solutions that meet the demands of the future.

What you'll be doing
As a (BMS) Design Manager You Will
- Lead the delivery of Building Management Systems across multiple Regional Buildings projects.
- Manage BMS design development, coordination and technical assurance activities.
- Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and project teams.
- Oversee BMS commissioning, testing and handover processes.
- Ensure integration with HVAC, lighting, energy management, security and life safety systems.
- Support digital building strategies, smart building initiatives and sustainability objectives.
Who we're looking for
You Will Have The Following
- Proven experience in BMS design, controls engineering, or building automation systems.
- Previous experience managing complex BMS design projects within industrial, commercial, or critical environments.
- Strong understanding of HVAC controls, energy management systems, smart buildings, and integrated building technologies.
- Knowledge of industry-standard BMS platforms and control systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional accreditation or membership of a relevant engineering institution is desirable.
