The Role
The role of the Design Manager Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
- Design Manager position dealing with various cladding systems such as: wall cladding, rain screen cladding and SFS
- Ensuring all construction drawings and designs are produced on time to a high standard
- Managing the development and implementation of design proposals and ensure they meet the clients expectations
- Ensuring all drawings and revisions comply with project specifications and manufacturers latest installation guidance
- Ensuring designs have relevant documentation to support them
- Act as the central point of contact for all design-related inquiries
- Managing a teams ranging from 6-30 designers
- Facilitating the designs for projects that could range in value up to £30m

The Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager Industrial Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
- Must have Senior Designer / Design Management experience within rainscreen cladding and/or SFS market sector
- Experience managing design projects over £10m
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High levels of attention to detail and organisation
- Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
- Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
