Role Overview

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Your duties as the Design Manager will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of all design activities within the assigned business stream, ensuring sufficient resource allocation and practical design outputs.
  • Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Design Process documentation, ensuring it supports efficient manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Maintain structured development plans and regular performance discussions for all Design Team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with other Design Managers to ensure aligned processes and consistent departmental management across all business streams.

  • Proven industry experience in managing design projects within the manufacturing sector (and ideally within the life sciences/pharma/biotech space).
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with design software platforms such as Revit and digital workflows.
