Data Centre Design Consultants – Multiple Levels

We are supporting a leading global engineering and design consultancy with the growth of its Data Centre design team in the UK.
Due to a strong pipeline of data centre projects across the UK and Europe, we are looking to speak with experienced Design Consultants and Engineers across multiple disciplines and levels, from experienced Engineers through to Principal, Associate and senior leadership positions.
These opportunities offer the chance to work on some of the most technically complex and high-profile data centre and mission-critical projects across Europe.

- HV / LV Electrical Design
- CSA / Civil & Structural Design

The Role
Depending on your level and discipline, responsibilities may include:
- Delivering detailed engineering and design solutions for data centre projects.
- Working across concept, FEED, detailed design and construction stages.
- Developing technical specifications, calculations, drawings and reports.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Working closely with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Supporting technical reviews and design coordination.
- Providing technical leadership on complex engineering packages.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- Supporting the delivery of projects across the UK and wider European market.
- Contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions for next-generation data centres.
Candidate Requirements
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have:
- Relevant engineering, architectural or technical qualifications.
- Experience within data centres, mission critical, high-tech, industrial or similarly complex environments.
- Strong technical design experience within your chosen discipline.
- Experience working within an engineering consultancy, design practice or contractor environment.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to work on complex projects with demanding technical requirements.
Data centre experience is highly desirable, but professionals from adjacent sectors with strong technical design backgrounds may also be considered.
