How We Work

Our hybrid work style (3 days in the London office) gives us the face-to-face time to have creative conversations, meaningful meetings, make quick decisions and build relationships. And it's flexible enough to give you the space to do your best work.

About the Role

As a Design Operations Lead you will support the day-to-day operations of Gen's global product design organisation. You will work alongside product designers, researchers, design leaders, and cross-functional partners to improve the workflows, tools, and systems that help teams do their best work.

You will bring structure to planning, delivery, handoffs, reviews, and team rituals. By making ways of working clearer and easier to scale, you will help the design organisation operate with greater visibility, consistency, and focus and help teams deliver better outcomes for our customers.

About the Team

You will be part of a global product design organisation working across Gen's family of digital safety brands. The team brings together product designers, researchers, design leaders, and cross-functional partners who collaborate to solve meaningful problems for people navigating the digital world.

Design Operations sits at the centre of this network, helping teams connect their plans, tools, rituals, and documentation so that creative work can move forward with less friction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and facilitate core planning and collaboration cadences, including sprint planning, milestone reviews, retrospectives, and design critiques
  • Identify and implement workflow and process improvements, including automation, documentation, and tooling strategies that improve visibility and reduce friction
  • Partner with design leads to create clear timelines, milestone plans, and delivery checkpoints that support accountability and informed decision-making
  • Own and evolve project-tracking systems such as JIRA and Figma ensuring they remain useful, current, and aligned to team needs
  • Maintain team documentation, briefs, review records, and other operational resources so that information is easy to find and act on
  • Create structure around design handoffs, stakeholder reviews, and team rituals to empower designers and improve cross-functional collaboration
  • Support continuous improvement through feedback loops, retrospective facilitation, and structured iteration on processes and ways of working

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
