Role: Design Opportunities | Performance, Lifestyle & Concept

Contract Type: Full Time, working 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week

Location: Hybrid, working 3 days a week in our offices based in Old Street, London

Our Design Team:

Our Design team brings our brand vision to life through innovative, trend-led collections that connect with our community. From first concepts and colour stories through to finished product, we create collections that balance style, function, and performance.

As we continue to grow, we're looking to connect with talented designers across multiple disciplines and experience levels. Whether your expertise lies in Performance, Lifestyle, or Concept & Colour, we'd love to hear from you.

We're interested in hearing from designers with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Performance / Activewear
  • Lifestyle & Athleisure
  • Concept, Colour & Seasonal Direction

You'll be responsible for:

  • Designing innovative, commercially relevant products that reflect the Oner Active brand.
  • Researching trends across fashion, fitness, culture, and consumer behaviour to inform seasonal collections.
  • Developing concepts, colour palettes, silhouettes, and product stories that inspire our community.
  • Working closely with Buying, Garment Technology, Merchandising, and Product Development throughout the design process.
  • Creating detailed design packs and supporting products from concept through to production.
  • Selecting fabrics, trims, and construction details that deliver exceptional quality and performance.
  • Supporting fit sessions and product refinement to ensure the highest standards.
  • Presenting design ideas, trend research, and seasonal direction to key stakeholders.
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
  • For senior designers, mentoring junior team members and helping shape the creative direction of the department.

We're open to speaking with both midweight and senior designers:

  • Experience designing within activewear, sportswear, lifestyle, or fashion.
  • A strong eye for product, colour, silhouette, and emerging trends.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of balancing creativity with customer demand.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional product teams.
  • A proactive, curious, and collaborative approach.
  • Passion for creating products that empower women through strength.
  • For senior applicants, we'd also love to see experience leading projects, mentoring designers, and influencing creative direction.
