Design Quality Assurance Engineer

Aerospace | Compliance | Certification

Do you instinctively spot problems that everyone else missed? Do you read a process and immediately notice the loophole? Can you sit through an audit without breaking into a cold sweat? Have you ever found yourself saying: "That's great... but where's the evidence?"

If so, keep reading...

We're supporting an innovative aerospace technology company that's looking for a Design Quality Assurance Engineer to help ensure its engineering teams continue to deliver products that meet rigorous industry and regulatory standards.

This isn't a software tester role. It's not a manufacturing quality role. And it definitely isn't a box-ticking exercise.

This is about providing independent oversight across engineering activities, ensuring products, processes and evidence stand up to scrutiny before regulators ask the awkward questions.

What you'll be doing

You'll act as the engineering team's trusted challenger, helping maintain the robustness of the company's Design Assurance System and supporting certification activities throughout the product lifecycle.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Experience conducting audits, reviews or independent assurance activities on engineering processes, documentation or deliverables.
