Innovation has always been at the heart of what we do ever since our first Grand Prix in 1950. Now, more than 75 years on, the sport remains a pioneer, developing technologies that have made a significant impact on society beyond the track.

Role Overview

Join Formula 1's Quality Management Office (QMO) and play a key role in ensuring the integrity, control and traceability of the engineering data that supports one of the world's most technologically advanced sporting organisations.

We are recruiting for both a Design Quality Engineer and a Senior Design Quality Engineer, offering opportunities for engineers at different stages of their careers to contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Formula 1's engineering processes. Working closely with Engineering & Technology teams, you will support the management of product data, design releases, engineering changes and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) activities that are critical to delivering world-class technology and infrastructure across the business.

Acting as a key link between engineering, operational and procurement teams, you will help ensure that engineering information is accurate, controlled and effectively communicated throughout the product lifecycle. Whether supporting day-to-day engineering activities or driving improvements to systems and processes, your work will help maintain the high standards of quality, consistency and governance expected within Formula 1.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented engineering professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes and collaborating with stakeholders across a fast-paced, innovative environment. For those joining at Senior level, there will be additional opportunities to influence business-wide improvements, lead initiatives and act as a subject matter expert within quality and lifecycle management activities.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the integrity of engineering product data within the PLM environment.
  • Support and manage the design release process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established engineering procedures.
  • Coordinate engineering change management activities and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders across the business.
  • Support Engineering & Technology teams throughout product development and product lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain and develop PLM system processes, configurations and governance activities.
  • Contribute to design reviews and support engineering governance processes.
  • Deliver training and guidance on PLM systems and related business processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operational teams to ensure engineering changes are effectively implemented.
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, quality and data integrity across engineering workflows.
  • Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement of quality management processes across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
