Bespoke Joinery & Interior Fit-Out

SEND US YOUR CV - info@keenwood.net

We are a high-end joinery and interior fit-out company delivering precision craftsmanship, beautiful spaces, and a seamless client experience.

As we continue to grow our in-house design and technical capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Design Technician to join our team.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on taking design information and developing it into accurate, detailed and manufacture-ready drawings for our workshop and project teams.

You will work closely with our internal commercial, production and operations teams to ensure that joinery designs are practical, fully detailed and ready for manufacture and installation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded designer who enjoys solving problems, developing details and seeing their work progress from drawing to finished product.

The Role

As Design Technician, you will be responsible for producing detailed technical and manufacturing information for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.

You will interpret architectural and design information and develop it into clear, accurate drawings and 3D models that can be used by our workshop and site teams.

You will work as an important link between the design information, our internal teams and the workshop, ensuring projects are properly detailed and coordinated before manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Delivery

  • Produce accurate manufacturing and production drawings for bespoke joinery items.
  • Develop detailed construction drawings, sections, elevations and component details.
  • Interpret architectural drawings, specifications and design information and translate these into practical manufacturing solutions.
  • Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models for internal coordination and manufacture.
  • Develop joinery details with consideration for materials, construction methods, tolerances, hardware and installation requirements.
  • Ensure drawings contain sufficient information for the workshop and installation teams to manufacture and install correctly.
  • Revise and update drawings in response to internal design, manufacturing and installation requirements.
  • Assist with developing standard details, drawing templates and technical processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Integrate AI-assisted design tools and new digital workflows into the design process, continuously improving efficiency and output quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
