Position: Design Technology Teacher

Salary: £34,397-£52,489

The Opportunity:

As part of this Reigate Design Technology Teacher Position, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Teach Design Technology to enthusiastic and engaged students across a range of abilities
  • Plan and deliver creative, practical, and inspiring lessons that encourage innovation and problem-solving
  • Develop students' design skills through engaging projects and hands-on learning experiences
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals and reaching their full potential
  • Teach areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, CAD/CAM, and practical design processes

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a Design Technology Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Has experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary school setting
  • Is passionate about inspiring students through creative and practical learning
  • Has excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Can create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Is committed to supporting students of all abilities
  • Has strong subject knowledge across Design Technology and practical skills
  • Can inspire students to develop confidence in designing, creating, and evaluating products
