Belstaff was created by and for independent spirits. We know that what we do, and who we do it with matters. Join the team and make an impact as we build a legacy that surpasses our incredible past.

Love The Challenge. Find A Way. Go All In. Stand Together. Be The Difference.

A bit about Belstaff

Belstaff is a functional clothing brand founded to move people forward. Throughout our history we have championed material innovation, collaborating with those who challenge the ordinary and celebrate the joy of the journey. Belstaff has designed protective suits for race-car drivers, windproof smocks for Marines and insulating clothing for mountaineers. One thing is at the heart of all these endeavours: An Independent Spirit. Today, this energy prevails and unites the people who bring the Belstaff brand to life, providing the best products to our customers – both old and new. We are committed to building a team of curious, conscious individuals dedicated to showing up, standing together, and being the difference between a good day and a great day.

The Role

This key role in our Design Team will work closely with the Head of Design, and the wider Design team, and will be responsible for designing commercially relevant and compelling products, across multiple product categories, alongside working on special projects and brand partnerships.

This role plays an important part in creating products which drive the menswear category forward whilst aligning with the overall strategic direction of the Belstaff brand.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop desirable and on-brand products, balancing creative vision with commercial needs.
  • Own the Design process for assigned product areas, from initial concept through to pre-production hand-over.
  • Analyse sales data and carry out in-depth market research to inform design work.
  • Work collaboratively with the Design team to produce mood, colour, fabric and trim boards and comprehensive range presentation decks.
  • Clearly communicate design ideas through hand-drawing, digital CAD work and using AI tools.
  • Design seasonal products, alongside other special projects, around coherent themes, functionalities, range plans and RRP’s.
  • Work collaboratively with the Merchandising team to deliver a balanced product offer that meets the requirements of the business.
  • Collaborate and communicate with the Product Development team throughout the development process to ensure departments are aligned, product standards are adhered-to, and margin targets are met.
  • Prepare Design tech packs with precise garment specifications and launch with the Product Development team.
  • Participate in prototype and pre-production sample fittings with the Product Development and Technical teams, clearly communicating changes and ensuring all sketches and collection overviews are kept accurately updated throughout the process.
  • Research and source new materials, trims and colours, visiting trade shows and meeting with suppliers, as required.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement
  • You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you by the Company from time to time.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
