Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Designer role focused on supporting the design and delivery of high-performance eco-homes aligned with passive house principles. The Designer will create detailed design concepts, drawings, and specifications that prioritize energy conservation, airtight construction, and effective ventilation strategies. - Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to refine building details, select materials, and ensure designs meet sustainability, comfort, and cost objectives.
- Helping prepare client-facing visual materials.
- Contributing to design documentation.
- Participating in iterative reviews to maintain design quality and consistency across projects.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in architectural or building design tools (e.g., CAD, BIM, or similar) and the ability to produce clear technical drawings and visualizations.
- Experience or strong interest in sustainable design, passive house principles, and energy-efficient construction practices.
- Strong spatial, visual, and creative design skills, with attention to detail in building fabric and interior layouts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting concepts and preparing concise design documentation.
- Relevant education in architecture, interior design, building engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with building regulations, performance standards, or residential construction processes is an advantage.
- Comfort working with digital tools for project coordination, such as online collaboration platforms and cloud-based file management.
