Cheeky Studio is a creative tufting studio in London that encourages people to make meaningful lifestyle changes through hands-on, fiber-based art. Recognized as one of the leading tufting spaces in the city, the studio offers an inspiring environment for both beginners and experienced makers. Cheeky Studio focuses on tufting while also exploring new artistic directions and challenging conventional creative boundaries. Volunteers and collaborators are invited to contribute to a vibrant community that values experimentation, playfulness, and personal growth through art.
Role Description
The Volunteer Webflow Designer will help design, build, and maintain Cheeky Studio’s website using Webflow, ensuring it reflects the studio’s creative identity and engages visitors effectively. Day-to-day tasks may include:

The role also involves collaborating with studio team members to translate brand guidelines into clear visual and interactive elements, and ensuring that the site is user-friendly and accessible. This is a volunteer, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with scheduling arranged to accommodate the volunteer’s availability.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and build websites in Webflow, including creating responsive layouts and managing CMS collections.
- Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and web accessibility to ensure a user-friendly and inclusive online experience.
- Comfort with visual design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) to mock up pages and refine design concepts before implementation.
- Attention to detail for editing and formatting content, images, and typography to keep the site visually consistent and accurate.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a small, creative team in an on-site studio environment.
- Interest in art, craft, or tufting, and enthusiasm for supporting a community-focused creative space.
- Previous experience designing websites or portfolios is beneficial; formal education in design, development, or related fields is an advantage but not required.
