The Role
As our Designer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Zuto looks, feels and communicates across every customer touchpoint.
Working across Product, Marketing, Partnerships and Commercial, you’ll create high-quality visual experiences while helping us build the systems and standards that allow great design to scale across the organisation.
A major part of your role will be evolving and embedding Zuto’s design system, creating reusable assets, components and patterns that allow teams to move faster without sacrificing quality or consistency.
You'll also use AI as a force multiplier in your day-to-day work, exploring how emerging tools can accelerate production, improve consistency and enable our design capability to have an even greater impact.
Success isn't about how many assets you produce. It's about how consistently great the Zuto experience feels, wherever a customer interacts with us.
What you'll be Doing
Brand & Visual Design
- Creating high-quality visual assets across digital products, marketing campaigns, partnerships and customer communications.
- Ensuring every customer-facing experience consistently reflects the Zuto brand.
- Translating our brand into clear, engaging and recognisable visual experiences.
- Continuously evolving visual standards, patterns and assets to improve quality and consistency.
- Maintaining a high standard of craft and attention to detail across everything we create.

Design Systems & Enablement
- Building, maintaining and championing a scalable Zuto design system across Product, Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Creating reusable components, templates and assets that allow teams to deliver great work faster.
- Establishing clear design standards and best practices that can be adopted across the wider organisation.
- Helping teams use our design system effectively while maintaining consistency.
- Evolving the system as Zuto grows, ensuring it continues to support both speed and quality.
AI-Enabled Design
- Using AI tools day-to-day to accelerate design production, content creation and asset generation.
- Exploring emerging AI capabilities that can improve design quality, consistency and delivery speed.
- Helping establish AI-native design workflows that allow a small team to have an outsized impact.
- Identifying opportunities to reduce repetitive design work and create more time for high-value creative thinking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partnering closely with Product, Marketing, Partnerships and Commercial teams on new initiatives and campaigns.
- Supporting teams in applying Zuto’s design principles consistently and effectively.
- Working collaboratively to turn ideas and commercial opportunities into high-quality customer experiences.
- Acting as an advocate for customer-centred design and high-quality execution across the business.
- Helping build a stronger design culture as Zuto continues to grow.
What you'll Need
We’re looking for a versatile Designer who combines strong creative craft with commercial awareness, collaboration and a genuine obsession with quality.
You’ll need:
- Proven experience creating high-quality digital and visual design across multiple channels.
- Strong visual design skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience building, maintaining or working within design systems.
- A strong understanding of branding, visual communication and customer experience.
- Confidence working across Product, Marketing and Commercial environments.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills and the confidence to influence people without needing formal authority.
- High personal standards and genuine pride in producing exceptional work.
- A proactive mindset and the desire to help shape and scale a design culture within a growing business.

AI Fluency
AI is becoming a fundamental part of how our Growth and Design teams operate, so we're looking for someone who is already comfortable using it as part of their creative process.
You'll be actively using AI to accelerate workflows, generate assets and content, explore ideas and increase design velocity, while continuing to explore new tools and capabilities that could improve how we work.
We want someone who sees AI as an opportunity to spend less time on repetitive production and more time creating brilliant work.
