This is a great opportunity to join our Creative team as a Designer

10-month fixed-term contract

You’ll play a key role in bringing our brands, products and customer propositions to life through engaging and impactful design across digital, social and print channels. You'll collaborate with colleagues across Marketing, Buying and UX, helping to deliver high-quality creative work that inspires our customers and strengthens our brand presence.

What you'll do

  • Deliver all creative design requirements, working within the set brand guidelines, to the highest standards possible and within agreed timescales.
  • Meet internal clients, discuss their requirements and then deliver a high-quality end product which fulfils and exceeds their expectations.
  • Determine the best solution to fulfil the clients brief, delivering beyond their expectations.
  • Run small sub-projects within larger campaigns, liaise with photographers, videographers and other designers to get an amazing final design.
  • Work alongside our UX team to ensure that all of our design work gives the customer the best possible experience whilst shopping with our brands.
  • Use generative AI as part of the creative process, alongside strong traditional design skills. You should be able to:
    • Use generative AI for concept development, image creation, editing and creative variation.
    • Combine AI-generated content with Adobe Creative Suite to produce polished, brand-appropriate final artwork.
    • Show good judgement around when AI adds value, while maintaining quality, consistency and appropriate use of generated content.
    • Demonstrate examples of how you have used generative AI within real design projects.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience in a digital design role, supported by a current portfolio showcasing your creative capabilities.
  • Advanced skills across Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects.
  • Experience using generative AI tools as part of the creative workflow, with the ability to combine AI-generated content and traditional design techniques to produce polished, brand-appropriate work.
  • Working knowledge of Figma and WordPress.
  • A strong understanding of branding, visual storytelling and customer-focused design principles.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • A collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge ideas, contribute creatively and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team.
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset and a desire to continuously learn, innovate and improve.

Based in Hyde, Greater Manchester, with hybrid working.
