Designer Job Spec
Overview
This role is responsible for the delivery of design packages on allocated projects — translating design intent into clear, buildable information that supports the accurate, practical delivery of our living wall systems. It's a hands-on, collaborative role, working closely with the Lead Designer, Project Managers, and internal and external stakeholders to take projects from concept through to technical delivery.
As our project pipeline continues to grow across the UK and into new European markets, this role offers exposure to an increasingly varied range of façade and cladding design challenges.
This is a great opportunity to join a sustainability-focused business and play a key role in how our living wall systems are designed, detailed, and delivered — ideal for a designer who takes ownership of their work and wants to grow within a growing, mission-led company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
