Role Description

As a Mid-weight Designer, you’ll help shape how IMG shows up in the world; working with brands, rights holders and sporting properties to turn big ideas into compelling visual stories. You’ll get stuck into a varied mix of work, from marketing campaigns to commercial pitches and RFPs, bringing fresh thinking, engaging, editorial-quality, and a sharp visual point of view to every brief.

This is an opportunity for a curious, craft-focused designer to work across both B2B and B2C briefs, develop ideas alongside senior creatives, and take your work from those first sparks of an idea through to final delivery. You’ll bring a mix of curiosity, craft, and creative thinking to every brief: shaping ideas, solving problems, and telling stories through design.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Translate creative briefs into engaging ideas, visual directions, and design concepts, balancing creative ambition with the strategic and commercial goals of each project.
  • Develop and produce pitch decks, RFPs, commercial presentations, campaign assets, editorial layouts, brand communications, and other visual materials.
  • Turn strategy, research, copy, and raw content into clear, compelling, and well-structured visual narratives.
  • Take ownership of agreed design workstreams from initial layouts and concepts through to final artwork, incorporating feedback at each stage.
  • Work closely with the Design Lead and Senior Designers to develop concepts, refine visual direction, and deliver work to a consistently high standard.
  • Collaborate with the Copywriter, Creative Project Coordinator, strategists, marketers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure creative work is relevant, accurate, and delivered on time.
  • Apply IMG and client brand identities consistently across presentation materials, campaigns, and other touchpoints, while helping to evolve the work where appropriate.
  • Create layouts and artwork for a range of formats and channels, including presentations, print, digital, and social content.
  • Research sport, entertainment, culture, brands, fan behavior, and emerging design practices to bring relevant references and fresh thinking to projects.
  • Prepare final artwork and presentation files accurately, managing versions, specifications, assets, and deadlines with care.
  • Present work clearly in internal reviews, explain design decisions, and respond positively and constructively to feedback.
  • Use AI-driven tools and workflows appropriately to support exploration, creativity, storytelling, and time efficiencies.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment, staying organized and calm when timelines are tight.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture by sharing ideas, supporting colleagues, and continuing to develop your own practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
