Position Overview: Designer, Partnerships

The Designer, Partnerships will help our Global Partnership Sales team by telling compelling stories using creative, innovative and engaging presentation content and design as we engage brands to pursue marquee asset sales. In this role, you will create persuasive and effective visual communication solutions for a range of needs, from a single informational slide to customized presentation designs and storytelling solutions for our global partnership sales and consulting teams. Through sound design principles and innovative visual strategies, you will transform complex data points and text-heavy information into compelling and memorable visual presentations that create maximum impact. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and work cooperatively to develop ideas and transform concepts on paper into more visually intriguing and interactive experiences for our prospects and partners.

This is a hybrid role, based in our London office.

What You’ll Do

  • Bring presentation outlines to life, using the supplied narrative, sequencing and creative brief to produce clear, engaging sales decks, teasers and partnership proposals
  • Take ownership of assigned design outputs from initial build through to final delivery, working with the senior designer and wider team to ensure the finished work meets the brief and agreed quality standards
  • Develop layouts, imagery and visual treatments that strengthen the story, drawing on guidance and feedback from colleagues while contributing your own creative ideas
  • Work directly with Sales, Strategy and the senior designer to clarify briefs, discuss design choices and incorporate amendments
  • Create and adapt imagery, composites, mock-ups and brand overlays that help prospective partners visualise opportunities across venues, kits, screens and other partnership assets
  • Build and maintain presentations in Slides.com, PowerPoint and Google Slides, ensuring links, animations and interactive elements work as intended
  • Check final outputs for visual consistency, accuracy, image quality and alignment with relevant brand guidelines, ensuring agreed feedback has been addressed
  • Manage day-to-day design delivery across multiple projects, keeping the team informed of progress and flagging missing information or competing deadlines early
  • Keep working files and design assets organised, editable and reusable, helping build a shared library that makes future updates and brand adaptations quicker and easier
  • Support improvements led by the senior designer to templates, tools and working practices, contributing ideas and adopting agreed approaches, including the use of AI where useful
  • Stay up to date with design and marketing trends, including work produced by clubs, brands and other rights holders, and apply relevant ideas to keep our materials fresh
  • Actively seek and apply feedback, building an understanding of what works for our clients and audiences and developing greater independence over time

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are

  • Typically one to three years of relevant experience designing presentations, pitch decks or proposals, with a portfolio demonstrating clear visual storytelling across a complete deck
  • A strong portfolio showing high-quality design, visual storytelling and the ability to bring ideas to life. Evidence of ability matters more than a formal design qualification
  • Experience creating convincing composites, mock-ups and branded visuals. Examples may come from professional work or personal projects
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Adobe Creative Suite tools, with the ability to produce high-quality imagery, composites and realistic brand mock-ups from the outset
  • A good understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy and composition, with a clear sense of how design helps tell a story
  • Ability to interpret a brief, develop suitable visual treatments and turn complex or text-heavy information into clear, engaging design
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint, Google Slides or similar presentation tools, and a willingness to learn new platforms. Previous experience with Slides.com is useful but not required
  • Strong attention to detail across brand application, formatting, image quality and final presentation checks
  • Ability to keep design files organised and editable, making assets easy to reuse and adapt
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage work across multiple projects and communicate progress or potential delays early
  • Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to clarify feedback, ask useful questions and explain design choices
  • Motion design, animation and video skills are highly desirable, particularly where they can strengthen presentations and digital content
  • Practical use of AI tools to support design and creative development is highly desirable, supported by examples and sound judgement about the quality of the results
  • Previous sports and entertainment experience is welcome but not essential

What Makes You Stand Out

  • A genuine enthusiasm for sport and curiosity about how clubs, athletes, rights holders and brands communicate through design, social media, digital campaigns and partnership activations
  • An appetite to learn from feedback, understand why changes are needed and apply that learning to future work
  • Initiative and confidence to suggest visual solutions when a brief is open to interpretation, alongside a willingness to ask for guidance when needed
  • A collaborative approach, building an understanding of colleagues’ expectations and the creative standards of the business over time
  • Pride in the finished work, with reliable follow-through and a willingness to keep refining it until it meets the brief
