Do it as part of our amazing Experience Design team, based in vibrant London and a central part of the CRM, marketing automation and personalisation powerhouse that is VML MAP. What will your day look like? As our new Designer, you will work on CRM and loyalty projects for several global clients, as well as digital experiences that meet their business objectives and lofty ambitions – something you’ll know all about as you gain a deep understanding of their businesses and audiences. Your primary job will be to create creative content in various forms with tasks that include: Designing and defining visual guidelines and master templates for CRM Advising on design and visual identity of content used in direct marketing channels such as emails, SMS, apps, paid and social media, and loyalty programs Creating content assets for templates within existing design guidelines Creating or adapting illustrations, icons, logos and more Visualizing strategies and customer journeys and ensuring a cohesive visual experience But your job will also be to support conceptualizing engaging consumer-facing digital experiences, including: Brainstorming with other creatives, or on your own Seeing and visualizing the complete picture – from first click to loyal consumer Playing an active role in projects, from initial idea generation to execution and approval – closely liaising with Experience Strategists, Account Directors, Consultants and more Who are you going to work with? As a member of the Experience Design team, you will work closely with talented designers, copywriters, motion designers and creative leads, as well as communication strategists, CX/UX designers, data scientists, tech developers and project managers. The office is centrally located in London, and we’ll expect not only exceptional work from you, but also to contribute to the fun, friendly, collaborative and innovative atmosphere that echoes through our office space. We come from diverse backgrounds and have unique skill sets, so you’ll get plenty of opportunities to grow and apply your expertise. What do you bring to the table? You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times. Your conscientious and solution-oriented mindset enables you to digest complex information and translate strategy and insights into impactful design and exciting ideas. You have great attention to detail, even when coloring outside the lines, ensuring all deliveries are spotless and effective. Required skills and qualifications: 3+ years of design experience from an advertising or in-house agency Highly skilled in Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Photoshop, Illustrator and preferably Adobe After Effects Comfortable working in PowerPoint, preferably including animations Familiar with Generative AI tools, including Claude, and comfortable with prompting and with a desire to master it Able to produce strong graphic design concepts as well as reinterpreting existing brand assets Able to adhere to brand guidelines (or create them, when needed) Good time management, a proactive mindset, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and questioning difficult briefs Experience with illustration, conceptual design and/or brand design a plus A high degree of fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required A leader in personalized customer experiences VML MAP is a world-leading Centre of Excellence that helps businesses humanize the relationship between the brand and the customer through hyper personalization at scale, marketing automation and CRM.
