BAGNODESIGN Scotland operates designer bathroom showrooms in Glasgow and Edinburgh, offering luxury bathroom solutions to residential and trade clients. The Edinburgh showroom, located at 7-8 Melville Place, provides a full service that includes design consultation, product supply, and professional installation. Role Description

The Designer Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at the BAGNODESIGN showroom in Edinburgh. This role involves:

  • Welcoming clients to the showroom
  • Understanding their requirements
  • Providing expert guidance on bathroom design solutions, products, finishes, and layout options
  • Preparing design proposals and quotations
  • Managing the sales cycle from initial enquiry to order confirmation
  • Coordinating with the design, supply, and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly

  • Updating product knowledge
  • Handling customer queries
  • Following up on leads to achieve sales targets

The role requires building strong relationships with both retail customers and trade professionals, ensuring a high level of service and a seamless buying experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to listen, present design concepts clearly, and engage confidently with diverse clients.
  • Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on delivering a high-quality, consultative experience and resolving issues professionally.
  • Interior Design and Kitchen & Bath Design skills, including space planning, understanding of materials and finishes, and an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Sales experience, ideally in showroom, interior design, or bathroom/kitchen retail, with the ability to convert enquiries into orders and meet targets.
  • Comfort using design tools and basic software (e.g., CAD or design packages, CRM systems, and standard office applications).
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects at different stages.
  • Prior experience in luxury interiors, retail, or bathroom/kitchen design is an advantage.
  • Availability to work showroom hours, including some weekends, as required.
