Location: Bromsgrove Head Office with Hybrid working
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time

The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide ongoing service reviews to new and existing AFH clients. You will work collaboratively as part of a small team, conducting annual reviews, writing new business, onboarding new clients, speaking to members of group schemes, and acquisitions.
As our Desk Based Financial Adviser, you will typically:
- Develop and maintain good client relationships supporting the overall team approach ethos
- Identify new business opportunities and seamlessly referring these to the relevant adviser
- Conduct in-depth annual reviews of clients' financial circumstances reviewing the clients’ current arrangements and identifying future aims and objectives
- Competently complete and document, on average, a minimum of three full annual reviews or new business meetings per day
- Manage your diary and book some or all of your review meetings
- Complete all preparatory work, required compliance, and thoroughly document all client review activity in accordance with AFH requirements (XPlan)
- Look for opportunities and identify additional needs and objectives for review clients
- Maintain high-quality client files
- Ensure ongoing service opportunities are up to date and adhere to regulatory and organisational standards for compliance and Training & Competence
- Comply with AFH’s advice process and maintain regulatory competence and KPI standards and maintain competency for the role
- Keep knowledge up to date and maintain up-to-date personal CPD records.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, QCA Level 4 (or FCA approved equivalent) as a minimum qualification and to maintain certified status in accordance with the FCA regulations
Skills & Experience:
- Ability and experience conducting ongoing reviews, spotting opportunities to positively enhance the client’s situation, gaining buy-in from the client, and referring to the AFH Independent Financial Advisers, with excellent client management and referral relationship skills
- Demonstrate a continuously client-centric approach, displaying excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and professionalism
- Well presented, articulate, and dedicated to doing the right thing for our clients, with excellent IT skills and the use of the new virtual/digital ways to communicate with Clients.
