Job Title: Deskside Support Engineer (DSS) – S4 Roll Out Project

Project: AIRBUS BELFAST – DSS & S4 Roll Out

Location: Belfast, United Kingdom

Employment Type: Freelance Contract

Duration: 5 Weeks + 1 Week Paid Training

Start Date: 24 August 2026

Number of Openings: 3

Level: Band 2

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking 3 experienced Deskside Support Engineers to support the AIRBUS Belfast S4 Roll Out & Deskside Support Services (DSS) Project. The successful candidates will provide onsite technical support, device deployment, and end-user assistance during the S4 rollout while ensuring a high level of customer service in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite Deskside Support for end users during the S4 rollout project.
  • Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Support Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Configure and support smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android).
  • Perform user account administration using Active Directory.
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests using ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
  • Perform hardware replacements, imaging, and device deployments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working directly with end users.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate service records.
  • Follow project processes, security standards, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Deskside Support Services (DSS).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Mobile Device Management (MDM)
    • ServiceNow (SNOW)
    • Windows 10
    • Microsoft Office 365
    • Microsoft Teams
    • Active Directory
  • Experience supporting desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets (iOS & Android).
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and deployment experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer support skills.
  • Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid Full UK Driving License.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the UK.
  • Student Visa holders are not eligible.
  • Preference will be given to UK Citizens and candidates from NATO member countries.
