Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer

We at Coforge are seeking a Desktop Engineer to provide 2nd line technical support and endpoint management services across a Windows enterprise environment. The role focuses on vulnerability remediation, endpoint compliance, SCCM administration, and desktop support, working closely with Security and End User Platform teams to ensure a secure and reliable user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities using Qualys and other security tools.
- Investigate root causes of vulnerabilities, patch failures, and device non-compliance.
- Deploy software, patches, and configuration updates using Microsoft SCCM.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and remediation.
- Troubleshoot SCCM client issues, software deployments, and Windows endpoints.
- Support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, remote access, and desktop hardware.
- Provide 2nd line support, device builds, asset management, and service restoration.
- Maintain technical documentation, audit records, and knowledge articles.
- Follow ITIL best practices for Incident, Problem, Request, and Change Management.
- Support Citrix environments, meeting room technologies, and executive users as required.

Required Skills:

- 3+ years of Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Management, or 2nd Line Support experience.
- Strong expertise in Windows 11 and Microsoft SCCM.
- Good PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Qualys, Intune, Nexthink, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Microsoft Defender.
- Application packaging and software deployment experience.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical certifications and a passion for continuous learning in Desktop Engineering and Endpoint Management.
