Desktop Support Engineer - £30,000 - £40,000 – Events Management – Kensington (Office Based)
Overview:
We are currently searching for a Desktop Support Engineer to join a leading Events Management organisation based in Kensington. This is an excellent opportunity for someone in their second or third technology role who is looking to take on more responsibility within a fast-paced, highly user-facing environment supporting approximately 300 users.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on 1st and 2nd line desktop support across a predominantly Windows-based environment.
- Support users across Microsoft 365, SharePoint and OneDrive, resolving day-to-day application and access issues.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, desktop, laptop and peripheral issues across the business.
- Manage user onboarding, offboarding, account access and device configuration.
- Provide face-to-face support to users across a busy office environment.
- Take ownership of incidents and requests through to resolution, escalating where required.
- Proactively identify recurring issues and help improve internal IT processes and user experience.

Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Good Windows desktop and laptop support experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID would be highly advantageous.
- Exposure to supporting macOS devices would be beneficial.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and user access issues.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working independently in a user-facing environment.
- Ideally suited to someone in their second or third IT support position looking to continue progressing their career.
