Job Description
Here at 2 Sisters Food Group we are proud to be counted amongst the nation's key workers with our relentless work helping to feed Great Britain. We currently have exciting opportunities for Despatch Deputy FLM to join the team in West Bromwich (site D).
The hours of work and shift patterns are:
- Monday till Friday 6am - 2pm
Pay rate £17.13p/h
Flexibility in working hours/days is key due to the nature of the role
Main Responsibilities
- Support Despatch FLM’s by monitoring the Despatch team's performance and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
- Collaborate with Operations Assistant to maintain the availability and good condition of equipment and supplies.
- Track and trace orders to maintain order integrity.
- Promote and enforce a safe working environment and practices in despatch, taking appropriate actions in case of health and safety breaches.
- Ensure the team's training is kept up to date and that they are equipped with the necessary safety equipment (PPE) as per training requirements.
- Communicate with internal and external customers.
- Assist in formal employment relation matters such as return to work, first line investigations, disciplinaries, and performance management.
- Manage training schedules and
- Manage the transport in and out of the site.
- Control site perimeter.
- Provide cover for FLM during holidays or periods of absence.
- Ensure smooth and efficient dispatch activities, including scheduling, routing, and tracking of deliveries.
- Right safety equipment (PPE) for the appropriate task and ensure it is used as per training requirements.

Qualifications
People are our priority and our ideal candidate will demonstrate that they have effective people management skills. Additionally, you will have:
- Flexibility in working hours/days due to the nature of the role
- Leadership and people skills necessary for overseeing a large group of people
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing, warehousing/distribution environment
- Self-motivation and high resilience
- Quality consciousness to maintain a high standard
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages, especially Excel and Word
- Experience working in a unionized environment

Compensation
up to GBP 17.13 - weekly
