This is what you’ll actually do!

As a Warehouse Despatch Operator, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for despatch, making sure the right products, quantities, labels, and paperwork are ready to go.

  • You’ll safely load and unload vehicles using warehouse equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift Truck, and use handheld scanners and our Warehouse Management System (M3) to process orders and keep stock records accurate.
  • You’ll help maintain stock accuracy by supporting stock counts, audits, and inventory activities, while ensuring products are stored correctly and warehouse locations are kept organized.
  • Working as part of the night shift team, you’ll manage your workload to meet daily targets and customer requirements, working efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.
  • You’ll also take pride in keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and organized, following our clean-as-you-go approach and all relevant food safety, hygiene, GMP, and Health & Safety requirements.

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch, logistics, goods-in, or goods-out environment is desirable.
  • Comfortable using warehouse management systems, handheld scanners, and other IT systems.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize your workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Able to remain calm, focused, and productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Committed to high standards of Health & Safety, food safety, quality, and housekeeping.
  • Positive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience within a food manufacturing or distribution environment would be an advantage.
