Warehouse Despatch Operator – Nights

Ultrapharm, Mamhilad, Pontypool NP4 0JJ, UK

Location: Ultrapharm – Pontypool

Shift: 4 on 4 off | 7:00pm – 7:00am

Department: Warehouse & Logistics

We are looking for a Warehouse Despatch Operator - Nights to join our team at Ultrapharm bakery in Pontypool, part of the Finsbury Food Group, to support our safe, high-quality, and efficient food production operation.

Ultrapharm is a dedicated gluten-free bakery, specialising exclusively in gluten-free products since 1993. Our craft-led approach creates premium products with the flavour and texture of traditional bakery goods, supplying major UK retailers including Marks & Spencer and Waitrose.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in making sure our products leave site safely, accurately and on time. You’ll work across picking, packing and despatch, using warehouse equipment and technology to prepare customer orders and maintain accurate stock records.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in getting things right. You’ll need a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence, good attention to detail and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

This is what you’ll actually do!

As a Warehouse Despatch Operator, you’ll be responsible for accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch, making sure the right products, quantities, labels and paperwork are ready to go.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
