Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and organised Despatch Operative to join our busy operations team. Working within the dispatch department, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, labelled, and shipped on time. As the final point of contact with our products before they reach customers, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure an excellent customer experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is keen to develop their skills in logistics, warehousing, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations to fulfil customer orders.
- Print shipping labels, courier documentation, and associated paperwork.
- Label, package, and prepare products for dispatch in line with company procedures.
- Book shipments with a variety of courier providers and ensure all dispatch information is correctly recorded.
- Complete basic administrative duties, including updating records and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Receive incoming stock deliveries and accurately book stock onto company systems.
- Ensure all orders are processed and dispatched within agreed timelines.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when handling products and documentation.
- Follow company Health & Safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Support the wider operations team with general warehouse and logistics activities as required.
- Undertake IATA and ADG Dangerous Goods packing activities following completion of accredited training provided by an external training provider.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
- GCSE-level education (or equivalent).
- Good numerical and literacy skills.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
