Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
- To find, transport and load products on to vehicles for despatch to customer premises safely and efficiently.
- To ensure the safe handling, transportation, stacking and storage of Company materials and products.
- To move finished products to designated areas of the stockyard as and when required.
- To safely and efficiently operate Company vehicles to meet despatch requirements.
- To maintain records accurately.
- To assist with the maintenance and inspection of Company vehicles.
- To assist the production and maintenance departments as and when required.
- To report all relevant information to the Yard Supervisor or Operations Manager.
- To follow the company Policies and Health and Safety Policies.
- To co-operate with management and other members of staff.
- Any other duty which may be required.
