Location: Batley
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 39 hours (Monday - Thursday - 4 days)
About the Role
We are looking for a Despatch Operative to join our welcoming team. Working as part of the Despatch Team, this role is responsible for the packaging, loading, and unloading of products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Packing, moving, loading, and unloading furniture pieces using various types of cardboard and plastic packaging and to a high standard for delivery.
- Packaging of all furniture types including heave recliners & sofas.
- Using trolleys and carts to move and load furniture onto trailers.
- Scanning barcodes to create shipping documents.
- Creating transport manifests of shipped goods and filing these away for reference.
- Processing and grading returned packaging as part of our recycling scheme.
- Ensuring a clean and safe workplace for all colleagues and visitors.
