Connect Appointments is recruiting Despatch Pickers to join an established food manufacturing business based in Shotts, North Lanarkshire.

Our client operates a busy food production and distribution facility, offering a four-day Wednesday to Saturday working week - giving you three days off every week.

What's on offer?

  • Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment
  • Wednesday to Saturday, 6am to 4pm - three days off every week
  • Paid weekly at £13.65 per hour - with all breaks paid

As a Despatch Picker, Your Duties Will Include

  • Order picking from storage areas ensuring correct stock is selected from the correct location
  • Safe handling and storage of all products in line with company procedures
  • Loading vehicles safely, legally and in a neat and presentable manner
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across all warehouse areas
  • Adhering to all health and safety requirements and company policies

To be considered as a Despatch Picker, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch or order picking environment is advantageous
  • A reliable, detail-focused approach to work with good health and safety awareness
  • Access to own transport - essential due to the rural location of the site
