Job Introduction

Cruise and Destination Experience Coordinator

Salary £25,000 to £27,000 depending on experience

Permanent

Hybrid / Home and Folkestone

If you love creating unforgettable moments for guests and enjoy working in a role where no two days feel the same, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a Cruise and Destination Experience Coordinator, you’ll play a key part in bringing our shore excursions to life. Helping to design, set up and deliver experiences that inspire, delight and stay with our guests long after they return home.

You’ll join our Cruise Operations team, supporting our European and Worldwide programmes, and helping ensure every Destination Experience meets the highest commercial, operational and guest experience standards. It’s a role where your organisation, creativity and passion for great service will shine.

We work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office.

Role Responsibility

This is a hands on role where you’ll help shape and deliver our market leading shore excursion programmes. You’ll support the set up, administration and operational delivery of Destination Experiences across our Ocean and River Cruise itineraries, ensuring every experience is accurate, inspiring and aligned with our product strategy.

You will be responsible for:

  • System administration and data input to support the delivery of Destination Experience information
  • Setting up excursions in line with planned itineraries to ensure guests receive accurate pre-cruise information
  • Reviewing content to ensure all guest-facing information is correct and meets expectations
  • Supporting the operational delivery of shore excursion programmes across all destinations
  • Managing excursion capacity to ensure guests can enjoy their first choice experiences
  • Enhancing River Cruise content to ensure it is engaging, inspirational, informative and factual
  • Ensuring consistency of information across all cruise vessels
  • Liaising with internal teams and external suppliers to support and enhance guest experiences
  • Championing product quality by ensuring all excursions meet health, safety and insurance guidelines
  • Conducting research to ensure Saga Cruises remains a market leader of bespoke quality experiences
  • Responding to sales team queries
  • Supporting the wider cruise operation as required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
