🛠️ We’re Hiring: Destination Marketing Executive (Entry-Level / Junior / Associate) 📍 Remote (United Kingdom) 🕒 Full-Time 💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate
We’re looking for a creative, organised, and commercially minded Destination Marketing Executive to support the promotion of destinations, attractions, tourism experiences, and travel products to domestic and international audiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, destination branding, digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement.
You’ll work closely with marketing, tourism, hospitality, media, and commercial partners to develop campaigns that increase destination awareness, visitor engagement, and tourism demand.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of destination marketing campaigns
- Promote destinations, attractions, events, experiences, and tourism products across digital and traditional marketing channels
- Create engaging content for websites, social media, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials
- Manage destination-focused social media content calendars and publishing schedules
- Research visitor trends, target audiences, travel behaviours, and competitor destinations
- Support digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and other relevant channels
- Assist with destination branding and ensure marketing content remains consistent with brand guidelines
- Work with tourism businesses, hotels, attractions, tour operators, airlines, travel agencies, and other industry partners
- Coordinate marketing assets including photography, video, brochures, destination guides, and promotional materials
- Support influencer, media, PR, and partnership campaigns to increase destination visibility
- Assist with trade and consumer marketing activities, tourism events, exhibitions, and promotional initiatives
- Monitor campaign performance, website traffic, social engagement, enquiries, and other key marketing metrics
- Prepare campaign reports and provide recommendations for future activity
- Identify opportunities to increase visitor numbers, engagement, and destination awareness
- Maintain accurate marketing calendars, databases, campaign records, and partner information
- Stay informed about tourism trends, destination developments, emerging markets, and consumer travel behaviour

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate (0–3+ years of experience)
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus
- Strong interest in destination marketing, tourism, travel, and hospitality
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, email marketing, and social media marketing
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or similar platforms is a plus
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Creative mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse campaign data and identify trends and opportunities
- Strong stakeholder and relationship-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
